See what you need to be prepared for the Father Challenge.

All food will be provided upon arrival, but feel free to bring snacks.

Travellers top tip: try using your spare clothes stuffed inside a sweater. We wouldn’t want your nice pillow getting ruined in transit around the hills!

Sleeping mat

There is no power in the wild, so make sure you can inflate it with your lungs only!

Warm layers

It gets cold outside at night, so make sure you’re rugged up!

Hiking clothes

Ideally these clothes will be quick-drying sports or hiking gear which is not cotton. But, if you don’t already own this gear, then cotton will be fine.

You will not be carrying your tent and sleeping equipment in your pack, so don’t worry about being weight or size conscious, however, it does need to fit into an enclosed bag for transportation.
